How do I register for the Coimbatore Marathon 2024?
a) For those looking to register and pay online –
Please visit our website at www. coimbatoremarathon.com. If you're opting for online payment, click on 'Online Payment' to begin your registration. Alternatively, you can register via WhatsApp by scanning the QR code available on the homepage.
b) If you are part of a group of over 30 runners, you may register as a group. For more details, please send an email to info@coimbatoremarathon.com and we will get in touch with you.
What is the minimum age for registering?

How do I complete the payment for my registrations?
Payments for registrations can be made using credit/debit cards, online bank transfers, or UPI. Please note that online payments incur a surcharge, which will be added to the registration amount.
What is the amount to be paid for registration?

All categories are entitled to an e-certificate.
For participants filing their Income Tax returns in India, the registration fee is considered a donation to the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation and is eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961
Will I receive an acknowledgment after completing my registration?
Once your payment is received, confirmation of both the payment and your registration will be sent to your registered email address and mobile phone via SMS.
I have completed the payment, but confirmation e-mail has not yet been received!
It can be one of two reasons:
- There is a possibility that the confirmation e-mail is in your junk mailbox/spam folder due to your e-mail service provider’s settings.
- There may be occasions when a delay occurs between your payment and the receipt of the information on our end, often due to the payment gateway. If the delay is more than a few hours, please send us your details by e-mail to info@coimbatoremarathon.com and we will resolve the matter at the earliest.
Can I change the Race Category after completing the payment?
Changes to race categories will be permitted until November 15, 2024, on completing payment of the registration fee. Please send us your details by e-mail to info@coimbatoremarathon.com
Can I cancel or transfer the registration?
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require you to withdraw from the race or transfer your registration. However, please note that the registration fee is non-refundable and will be considered a donation to the organization. Additionally, registrations are not transferable.
Can I register for a friend/family member?
We allow for the registration of multiple participants. However, please ensure you have the complete medical details for each individual you register. You will be required to accept the disclaimer on their behalf.
How can I participate for a charity? Is that option available for the Coimbatore Marathon?
The Coimbatore Marathon is owned by the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation, a Registered Charitable Trust. All proceeds from the Event go to the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation. Currently, we do not have any additional charity partners involved in this Event.
What is the last date for registering?
The last date for registration is 15 th November 2024 or earlier if the target number of registrations are achieved.
Will all runners receive a timing chip?
A timing chip is affixed to the bibs for participants in the Half Marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, and 5km timed run categories. Please note that the 5 km walk is not a timed event, and participants in this category will not receive a timing chip.
Will there be prizes for the winners of the Coimbatore Marathon?
Yes, there are prizes for the 10 km and 21 km events, and further details will be posted on the website. Please note that there are no prizes for the 5 km timed run or the 5 km walk.
Where is the starting and finishing point of the race?
Details will be updated on the website a few weeks before the event. Additionally, information will be included in our Digital Race Booklet, and participants will receive updates at their registered email address.
What are the race timings & the proposed route?

Will there be a baggage collection service?
